VW Polo Vivo handbrake recall South Africa

Volkswagen Group Africa has notified the National Consumer Commission about a potential concern affecting the handbrakes on certain Polo Vivo models produced over the past year.

This issue has been identified in Vivos manufactured between February 2025 and February 2026. In some cases, the handbrake lever may not engage properly or could disengage, which is why Volkswagen has proactively communicated this safety risk to customers.

To keep you safe and confident on the road, we invite you to bring your Polo Vivo to any CFAO Mobility Volkswagen dealership for a quick handbrake check at no cost.

No booking is required, simply pull in anytime.
