While the Coaster has always been commonly used for airport shuttles, tour groups, and school transportation, the new Toyota Coaster bus now finds itself in the midi-bus category, making it bigger than a shuttle or your conventional minibus taxi. Built to move large groups of people comfortably, the 23-seating configuration of the Toyota Coaster offers maximum seating capacity without compromising individual passenger comfort.

Boasting more storage, the new Toyota Coaster provides various functional storage compartments in both the cockpit and the cabin area. Offering more storage, the luggage bay has been redesigned to optimise space and provide passengers with plenty of room to neatly stow bags overhead, to avoid keeping baggage on the floor.
The Coaster 4.0 l boasts a diesel, common rail engine and a Variable Nozzle Turbo (VNT) for lower emissions, uncompromised power and fuel efficiency. You can look forward to enjoying the power of 100 kW @ 3 000 r/min and torque of 353 Nm @ 1 600 r/min in the 5-speed manual transmission model. The 6-speed automatic GL model, on the other hand, is well-equipped with the power of 110 kW @ 2 500 r/min and torque of 420 Nm @ 1 400 r/min.
Fitted with power steering, the Toyota Coaster bus enables drivers to steer the vehicle with less effort and greater comfort, while the Coaster’s turning circle of 6.5 m ensures easy manoeuvring on both models. Its structure has been optimally designed to achieve a high level of rigidity without compromising ride comfort.
Boasting a sleek and modern design, the new Toyota Coaster has an entrance step at the sliding door to make it easier for passengers to board and exit the bus. Coming in with a height of 2635 mm and a length of 6990 mm, the Toyota Coaster bus moves more people with more comfort.

Also, the headlamp levelling feature ensures that the light beam is aimed correctly, providing better visibility and improved safety during nighttime driving. The Toyota Coaster features a 4.0-litre, diesel engine in the Coaster 4.0D 5MT, and a 2.8-litre, diesel engine in the Coaster 2.8D GL 6AT respectively.
