Meet The New Renault Captur - Available Now!

The second-generation Renault Captur, which was first revealed overseas in 2019, has finally made its way to South Africa after pandemic-related delays. While a facelifted version is expected to be released soon and hit the market in 2024, the latest model is currently available in two variants, the Zen priced and the Intens.

The power to take you to the next level Renault is positioning the new Captur as an "upper B-segment" SUV, featuring a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine that generates 113kW and 270Nm of torque, with power being delivered to the front wheels through a seven-speed EDC dual-clutch gearbox in both variants.
Exterior The range-topping Intens variant is distinguishable by its black roof and windscreen pillars and comes with similarly sized alloy wheels. The top model is equipped with a 9.3-inch vertical infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, wireless phone charging, heated leather steering wheel, floating centre console with E-shifter, Blind Spot Detection, Lane Departure Warning, and three driver-selectable driving modes (Sport, Eco, and Normal).
A sleek & contemporary interior Featuring generous specifications across both variants, the base Zen model boasts a 7.0-inch (17.8cm) touchscreen infotainment system with CarPlay connectivity, satnav, and a reverse camera. Additional features include front and rear parking sensors and keyless entry. The Zen is equipped with 17-inch steel wheels with Flex wheel covers that are designed to resemble alloy wheels.

The Renault Captur offers a flexible boot space of up to 404 litres, with the rear seat bench able to slide forward by 16cm when additional legroom for rear passengers is not required. The SUV is available in six exterior colours, including Passion Red, Ocean Blue, Marine Blue, Oyster Grey, Mercury Silver, and Ivory White.
