With a variety of 6 models, the Land Cruiser 79 series caters for everyone.
Power without reason is unnecessary. The Toyota Land Cruiser 79’s power is used to fuel its capability to go anywhere and everywhere. With its one-ton maximum weight capacity, the Land Cruiser 79 can carry whatever you want to take with you on your adventures. Two of the six models have a 4.5 litre V8 engine which delivers an incredible 151 kW of power and 430 Nm of torque that will get you to the top of the mountain or the bottom of the daring ravine. The world is your oyster with this powerhouse!
No fancy lines or strange indents decorate the Land Cruiser 79’s exterior. Built for practicality and reliability, the vehicle is the workmanship of a classic Toyota body. Its all-welded integral cabin provides extra strength and safety as well as reduces dust or water entry. The Land Cruiser 79 features fog lamps, alloy wheels and chrome finishes on the grille and door handles.
Rugged on the outside does not mean rugged on the inside as well. Comfortability, functionality and spacious! The interior of the Toyota Land Cruiser 79 series boasts a tilt-adjustable steering wheel, electrically adjustable windows and an air conditioner to keep you cool during your long journeys.

The entry-level Land Cruiser 79 cost R 706 200 while the top-of-the-range 70th-anniversary edition cost R 1 000 700.
Depending on the model the fuel tank of the Land Cruiser 79 series is either 4.0, 4.2 or 4.5 litres.
